Football fans where left in shock as they watched missiles fly across the sky during an Asian Champions League 2 match between Iranian side Sepahan and Istiklol from Tajikistan.

Sepahan supporters concentration in the match was interrupted by bright lights of flying missiles fired by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard aimed at Israel on multiple times on Tuesday evening.

Despite of the troubling scenes above Foolad Shahr Stadium in Fuladshahr in Central Iran, the match went on uninterrupted with fans strangely looking unalarmed with none leaving their seats to maybe take cover, probably sure that there would not be impact at the venue as the missiles were launched by the local army aiming elsewhere.

Regardless, Sepahan enjoying the home advantage made easy of the tie thrashing Istiklol 4-0 to move third in Group C of the Asian equivalent of the European Europa League competition.

While the Tuesday match played out to it's conclusion with the local fans looking not much concerned, the security situation in Iran left Indian league side Mohun Began Super Giant alarmed so much that they have refused to travel to Iran to face the local side Tractor SC. The Kolkata based club has since requested the Asian Football Confederation to reschedule the match that was set to be played in the Northwestern city of Tabriz on Wednesday evening.
