Paul Pogba is already exploring a new career path 3 months after receiving a 4-year ban from football for doping. According to reports, the 31-year-old midfielder who tested positive for DHEA, a banned substance that boasts testosterone after Juventus first game of the season against Udinese last August, is starring in a French film that is set for release in April 2025.

Pogba who announced that he will submit an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport over the doping ban, will reportedly play a youth team football manager in the movie dubbed '4 Zeros' which is a sequel of the popular 2002 film '3 Zeros'. The film story line follows a budding footballer from the East African island country of Comoros who aspires of playing for PSG, as a scout seeks to discover the next big star.

The 2018 world cup winner is said to have amazed and impressed the directors with his coolness, simplicity and naturalness in front of the camera during the filming two of his scenes at the Parc Stadium.

The acting adventure becomes a reprieve from the series of misfortune that has left Pogba's playing future uncertain. After leaving Manchester United in July 2022, the midfielder suffered a knee injury just 15 days after signing with Juventus on a 4-year contract. The injury kept him out of action for 2 months before undergoing a surgery that ruled him out of the 2022 World Cup.

He eventually made his 2nd debut for Juventus at the end of February 2023 but was dropped from the team 9 days later on disciplinary grounds after arriving late for a team dinner, just 4 days before suffering a muscle injury in training that sidelined him for another 3 weeks. Upon his return in mid-May, Pogba picked another thigh muscle injury after playing for only 23 minutes ruling him out for the remainder of the season. He finished the first season back with a combined 161 minutes.

Prior to his provisional suspension in September 2023, he had played for 52 minutes in 2 games after remaining an unused substitute in the season open after which he was caught doping.
