Marcus Rashford has taken to social media to shut down his critics. Taking to X to respond to a post by an X user post terming his hostile treatment as disgusting and cruel, Rashford wrote, "I appreciate your support! It is abuse and has been for months. Enough is Enough."

The 26-year-old's reaction came at a time when some pundits and fans have been heavily judging his performance this season which has been underwhelming compared to his blistering form last season that earned him a 5 year new deal last summer, reportedly worth around $400,000 per week.

After netting 30 goals last campaign, a performance that also earned him the Manchester United's 2022-23 Player of The Year Award, Rashford has been unable to replicate those numbers this time round only managing to find the back of the net 8 times in 42 games in all competitions which is so far his worst record since his senior debut in February 2016.

His form this season has left many questioning his commitment to the club with some reports including him in the list of players United are seeking to offload this summer. It's a situation that has had the forward hit at the media in an previous interview whom he accused of going too far by writing about his personal life such as how much his cars and jewellery cost as well as questioning his morals whenever he goes on a night out or picks a parking ticket. And for those who question his commitment to United, Rashford was keen to note that his family turned down life changing money when he was a boy so he could play for the Reds.
