A recent report released by Sportico ranked football clubs by valuation and there were some peculiar insights.

2008 Champions League winners Manchester United and 13-time Premier League winners (Since 1992) topped the chart at $6.2 billion despite of only winning 2 league cups, 1 FA Cup and 1 Community Shield and without a league title in 11 years.


Real Madrid often regarded as the most successful club in the world came 2nd with a valuation of $6.02 billion. With 14 Champions League titles to their name and worldwide fan base it's clear why they remain the most valuable brands in football world.


In 3rd is 2015 Champions League winners Barcelona, who despite of the recent financial struggles and $1.2 billion debt still boost a value of $5.28 billion.


2019 and 5 time Champions League winners Liverpool are 4th most valuable club in the world at $5.11 billion.

2020 Champions League winners and Bundeliga giants Bayern Munich closing the top 5 with a valuation of $4.8 billion.


2022-23 treble winners Premier League 3-peat holders Manchester City value of $4.75 billion rank them 6th with French League 1 champions PSG settling in 7th with a value of $4.05 billion.


2003-04 Premier League winners Arsenal are the 8th most valuable club at $3.91 billion with their North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur sitting 9th at $3.49 billion while 2021 Champions League winners and 5-time Premier League winners Chelsea close the top 10 at $3.4 billion.


Juventus, the most valuable club in Italy, is ranked 11th overall with a valuation of $1.77 billion, with 2023-24 Champions League finalists Borussia Dortmund coming 12th with a valuation of $1.64 billion.


Atletico Madrid's valuation of $1.62 billion ranks them 13th while 2007 Champions League winners AC Milan are 14th valued at $1.2 billion.


In 15th is MLS side LAFC valued at $1.15 billion, $90 million more than Inter Milan in 16th. Atlanta United are 17th most valuable club at $1.05 billion while their MLS counterparts Inter Miami come in 18th at $1.02 billion, LA Galaxy in 19th at $1 billion and New York City FC's value $840 million close the top 20.
