Jurgen Klopp and Mohamed Salah were involved in a dramatic altercation at the touchline during Liverpool's 2-2 draw with West Ham United on Saturday. After exchanging the normal coach-player pleasantries ahead of his deployment in the 79th minute, just 2 minutes after Liverpool had conceded the equalizer, Klopp seemingly said something to Salah that upset him and an exchange ensued between the two with the Egyptian angrily clashing fingers at his manager.

Darwin Nunez, who was also coming on, intervened pushing Salah away from the confrontation leaving Klopp giggling.

Salah's introduction made no difference to the end result as Liverpool dropped crucial points for the second consecutive game to remain 3rd in the Premier League table, 2 points behind leaders Arsenal who have a game in hand and 1 point behind second placed Manchester City who have 2 games in hand.

After the match, Klopp and Salah hilariously ignored each other marking yet another public conflict between the outgoing Liverpool gaffer and his players having previously clashed with James Milner, Sadio Mane, and his former captain Jordan Henderson. Salah would go on to avoid giving an interview at the press bay as the Reds left the stadium and said as he walked off, "There's is going to be fire today if I speak."

On the other hand, Klopp addressed the touchline bust-up in the post match interview. "We spoke about that incident in the dressing room with the lads and it's done. And Salah considers the matter resolved and closed. That's my feeling," said Klopp.
